http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1002875 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1002875#c32 --- Comment #32 from Zhao Qiang 赵强 <qzhao@suse.com> --- Sorry, I'm busy with other issues recent days. and you can see that I didn't close this bug all the time, Means I really care about it. I suppose the "Nvidia driver" you mentioned in the previous comment means the Nvidia proprietary driver. and we know that the premise condition of Plymouth is kernel mode setting (KMS) works fine, but both Nvidia and AMD proprietary drivers don't support it well. and these drivers are not open source, unfortunately. So I think the only thing we can do is disable Plymouth in this scenario. The problem is if Plymouth works fine with openSUSE packaged X driver? I saw some user complained in the beginning maybe about this, So I keep observing the rolling Tumbleweed release, but I still can't reproduce this problem. From the uploading log, also can't find any exception. Thanks for the reminding. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
