https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=339024 Summary: On first reboot the wrong boot entry (i.e. Windows) is selected Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: Ulrich.Windl@rz.uni-regensburg.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- On first boot after update, GRUB uses a special mode where the user cannot select the entry to boot. On the system openSUSE 10.2 had been the first entry in the boot menu, and Windows was something like position 4. Windows was the default selection. On reboot Windows was started (and not the new openSUSE 10.3). If the user had had the ability to select the correct entry, and extra reboot could have been avoided. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
