https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=349998 Summary: 'install software' reports another process using package db, while it's not true Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: roman@snitko.ru QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Customer The problem is pretty annoying. If i run 'install software' for the first time after booting it works ok. But then, if I don't install anything and just close the window, the attempt to run 'install software' again results in the following message: 'Accessing package Management Failed. Another process is accessing the package database...' as if I were running another 'install software' process. I checked the list of all processes and found nothing suspicious. Also, if I really install software when launching 'install software' for the first time and finish as expected, the bug doesn't show up. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
