Are there plans to include Samba4 into openSUSE soon? We have a test LAN and do daily builds from the git on 12.1. The only issue we see for users wanting to set-up a Domain Controller is the provisioning. The current Yast Samba Server module doesn't cope with this. Problems in 12.1 1. The gnutls package that comes with 12.1 (3.0.3) creates problems when starting Samba4. We have tested with gnutls 3.0.19 and this works fine. 2. We cannot get bind to run chroot with DLZ. 3. named insists that the 'working directory is not writable' after a default install. At the moment, the build and provision takes around 1 hour. Another distro has a Samba4 package which installs in seconds. How about making Samba4 a feature for the next release? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
