The previous install was a mixed system - KDE + Gnome based on 10.3 As I mentioned: my machine is "only Gnome" atm. - I own a network directory where the configuration files are stored, the login is via NIS. - Before this new install I made several logins via other machines: - openSUSE 11 with Gnome - and some logins with the old system (10.3) via Gnome gdm and via KDE kdm Content of .dmrc = [Desktop] Session=gnome So I think the message box is based on some strange configuration in my home directory. I was really surprised about the text: "... session type GNOME is not installed on this computer." based on the fact that I had installed GNOME and only GNOME before. The message popped up only one time. I can try to change the session by login via a KDE machine and see what will happen. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
