When the Gnome lock screen came on due to closing the laptop or simply timing out, the unlock screen would freeze up after entering the password. The lock up could be fixed by closing the screen after putting in the password and then opening it up again quickly. The problem stopped after disabling the fingerprint reader. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. T61 with opensuse 12.1 2. Gnome installed and fingerprint reader enabled 3. Lock out screen and attempt to log in Actual Results: The unlock screen information disappeared, with the exception of a gray box, and hung until the laptop was closed again. Expected Results: Should not have to close the screen and open it after logging in.
