https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=737676 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=737676#c0 Summary: lightdm won't start without a network connection Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Xfce AssignedTo: bnc-team-xfce@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: taroth@suse.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Documentation Blocker: --- I use XFCE with lightdm as display manager. If a network connection is available (ethernet or WLAN), lightdm shows up, but as soon as I boot without any network connection around, I don't get to see lightdm (independent from using NetworkManager or ifup for connecting). However, logging in from command line works. From there, I can then start lightdm as root. Let me know if you need any logs or more information or output. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
