http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=545865 Summary: wrong/missing icons in various KDE applications Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Milestone 8 Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer Created an attachment (id=321905) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=321905) screenshot Several KDE applications seem to miss icons. Instead, some fallback/default icons are displayed, but those are meaningless and sometimes you get the same icon three times for different actions. Examples: - the KMail editor has 3 times the "paper an pen" icon for copy, cut and paste and twice a "paper with text" for signing and encrypting mails. - Akregator has the same "paper and pen" icon in the context menu for "copy" - in many text input fields, including all quick search fields, I also get the "paper and pen" icon to delete the field content. I'd expect an icon that means "delete", like the "x" in a black arrow in KDE3. - the plasmoid for locking the screen and logout has the same icon (a computer with a screen) for both actions. A "key" (lock) and a "power switch" (logout) would be more meaningful. FYI: I upgraded from 11.1 with zypper dup. Before the upgrade, I used the KDE4 packages from the buildservice on 11.1. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
