If you look in the "alsamiser new" screenshot IEC958 the first is set to 00 (actually it`s mute) and i`ve tried with MM and the sound work. :) I have tried with the first subsystem and the last one and the sound works! Here is my files on /dev/snd : /dev/snd> ls -l total 0 crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 12 2008-06-05 01:02 controlC0 crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 3 2008-06-05 01:02 midiC0D0 crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 11 2008-06-05 01:04 pcmC0D0c crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 10 2008-06-05 01:09 pcmC0D0p crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 9 2008-06-05 01:02 pcmC0D1c crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 8 2008-06-05 01:02 pcmC0D1p crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 7 2008-06-05 01:02 pcmC0D2c crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 6 2008-06-05 01:02 pcmC0D2p crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 5 2008-06-05 01:02 pcmC0D3c crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 4 2008-06-05 01:02 pcmC0D3p crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 13 2008-06-05 01:02 seq crw-rw----+ 1 root audio 116, 2 2008-06-05 01:02 timer I can`t work with the volume control from the taskbar. If you look at the volume control printscreen "IEC958 Center/LFE", that appears down at the taskbar (the little speaker) when i want to modify the sound volume, and the real one that really works is "Analog Front". How can i change to be default "Analog Front" down at the taskbar?
