https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=796930 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=796930#c0 Summary: GNOME:Apps/kazam: Kazam fails to show Recording finished window Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software AssignedTo: os.gnome.maintainers@gmail.com ReportedBy: cra1g321@hotmail.co.uk QAContact: opensuse-communityscreening@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: Community User Blocker: --- I was using Kazam 1.0.6-1.1 to do screen recording which lasted around 2 hours but whenever I clicked "Finish Recording" I did not get the "Recording Finished" window, which asks whether I want to edit the file or save for later. Instead, kazam just idles and doesn't seem to be doing anything. I also looked at the System Monitor to see if Kazam was maybe still converting the video into the file format I specified to use (GStreamer - H264/MP4) and it seems to be doing nothing. (no change in CPU or mememory usuage). This problem only seems to occur when I record for a long period of time, if I record for say 5 minutes or 15 minutes, Kazam seems to work fine and shows the "Recording Finished" window when I tell it to finish recording. ** Steps to Reproduce 1. Start recording section of desktop using Kazam, with settings: Video Source - Display 1 Audio Source - Monitor of Internal audio analog stereo Encoder Type - GStreamer - H264/MP4 FPS - 20 2. Record for over an Hour and then click 'Finish Recording' in Kazam's applet icon. ** Actual Result Kazam fails to show the 'Recording Finished' window which gives the user the option to Edit their recording or Save it ** Expected Result Kazam shows the 'Recording Finished' window and the user is able to choose an option. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
