I liked to use the factory update module from yast, but that stopped working. Than i downloaded the net.iso for M2. There were troubles with k3b: Not able to burn the iso. (filed bug, problem solved..) I updated via yast2 all pkgs > update when newer version available: sometimes solver problems, suddenly a good moment: update. M3 > M4 Also same method; not without problems, filed bugs about that also. M4 net iso has a broken partioner: not able to read in former partitiontables > not capable to fill in the partitions manualy: system can not mount partitions that have unknown fs. I have sometimes pasted entries into menulst, because my other installs were vanished.., and i sometimes need a system that works ok, to be able to fix a broken one, or to do some other work. /etc/sysconfig/bootloader i never used as i was not aware of the existance of this configfigfile... I once used the bootloader to bring windows7 back in the game. If i remind some details not writen here, i will. (long period of time passed since first used the bootloader config tool in yast2.....) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
