http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=910987 Bug ID: 910987 Summary: In Suse13.2 dmraid can't boot after error free installation Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 13.2 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Bootloader Assignee: jsrain@suse.com Reporter: gert.ahrens@ahrenszedau.de QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- The error message on grub2 safeboot is "sdb unknown partition table. After much tryings a security command line appears. Typing "dmraid -ay" let the raid build up. After that I can mount the /dev/mapper/pdc_hicdhaddip1 and so on. I believe its an problem with udev or systemd. In every case, the driver is in the initrd! Only activating of dmraid isn't in function. Below a part of my boot log from a functional Suse 12.2.
