Enabling systemd services right now is stupid, compare with: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Systemd_packaging_guidelines "Enabling service" For me in a 13.1 installation there is: enable purge-kernels.service added to: /usr/lib/systemd/system-preset/90-default-openSUSE.preset which is part of: rpm -ql systemd-presets-branding-openSUSE-0.3.0-3.1.2.noarch package. Can you double check whether this is the case for you as well.
