The offending change was eventually tracked down and corrected there, resolving this issue. The Fedora bug (#852841) is here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852841 I recently installed a copy of OpenSUSE 12.2 to find the exact same behavior occurring that was corrected in the above Fedora bug fix. This issue makes the OS unusable for me. I believe this issue is also related to this OpenSUSE forum post about misbehaving virtualbox guests: https://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/virtualization/4... As I stated there, for xorg-x11-server we need either a 7.6_1.12.0-x (downgrade) or 7.6_1.12.3-2.x or higher (upgrade). I could not find any versions prior to 7.6_1.12.3 in yast, and 7.6_1.12.3-1.17 is the newest currently available. Please advise...
