https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=422162 Summary: The Installer "forgets" boot option acpi=off Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: frank@ruell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- To install I have to boot with acpi=off. Then later in installtion, the computer has to be rebooted. And since I'm not fast enough to remove "Live CD" (the GNOME one) from tray and enter acpi=off at the prompt, it freezes. It would be nice, if the acpi=off boot option would be used for the grub entry. You can just take it from /proc/cmdline. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
