https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=736116 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=736116#c0 Summary: Problems in GTK application under KDE in Opensuse 12.1 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: fernando.a.martin@hotmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 When using gkt applications in kde if a window is not maximized, instead of adapting to the size of the window some buttons and items remain out of the window. That is changing window size doesn't change the position of items. Some texts inside the window are not readable. Example: in yast-gtk package manager the part of window that display the repos of a package is completely black. Text there cannot be read at all. After clicking any button or option inside a window, mouse clicks no longer take any effect on other items on that same window, unless it's minimized and maximized again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make a fresh install of Opensuse 12.1 KDE from live cd. (Probably it will work with another types of installation of Opensuse and KDE.) 2. Install Eye of Gnome. 3. Edit /etc/sysconfig and change yast gui to gtk. 4. Try to use these both applications clicking on several buttons and menus, one after another, try re-sizing the window and experiment any other options and buttons. Actual Results: Problems in functionality of buttons, menus and text in some parts of the windows. Expected Results: Resize or adjust items when the windows is resized, keep all buttons nad menus working continously and every text should be visible. In any theme the same thing happens. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
