Sorry, mistyped the error message. It says:
usb 1-2.4: can't set config #1, error -28
1. What device is that? Please provide dmesg of a working boot. 2. Can you boot if you add nousb?
Hi. Looks in this case, this is the display: [ 5.693607] usb 1-2.4: New USB device found, idVendor=0409, idProduct=04c6 [ 5.693615] usb 1-2.4: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 [ 5.693620] usb 1-2.4: Product: EA275UHD [ 5.693624] usb 1-2.4: Manufacturer: NEC [ 5.693918] usb 1-2.4: Not enough bandwidth for new device state. [ 5.693928] usb 1-2.4: can't set config #1, error -28 What does this mean? It obviously functions properly and gets recognized. As requested, I've attached the output of dmesg from a working cold boot. Unfortunately, I need USB to boot since my keyboard and trackball are USB, neither do I have access to PS/2 versions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
