http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=533569 Summary: No NTP servers available on GNOME Live Installer Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Milestone 6 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: kevin.dupuy@opensuse.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090730 SUSE/3.5.2-2.4 Firefox/3.5.2 During install of M6, I noticed that NTP is not selected for keeping track of time (though, this may not be a bug, I can't recall if we use it by default or not?), but more importantly, it was not possible to be used as there are *no* NTP servers available for the installer to use in the GNOME live install. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start Live Installer 2.At Time & Date screen, choose "Configure" 3.Notice that there are no NTP servers set up Actual Results: NTP is not selected and there are no servers available. Expected Results: The installer should have chosen an NTP server to sync time with. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
