This is mostly caused by the unavailability of proper fonts. Distribution requires at-least one proper font for Malayalam language. Issue solves by installing a proper font. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open web browser (default firefox) 2. Load a Malayalam website (ml.wikipedia.org) 3. or try searching a Malayalam word in google (https://www.google.com/search?q=������������������) Actual Results: Page loads normally but words are garbled and not easy to read. Expected Results: Correct proper rendering of Malayalam language. Similar issues regarding Malayalam Language rendering resolved across various distributions atleast a decade ago.
