https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=205760 Summary: Can't ignore kernel update during installation. Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: rafpolak@o2.pl QAContact: jsrain@novell.com During fresh installation I choose to update the system. After applying libzypp, rug etc. patches I can install all needed updates. So far so good. But, there is update for kernel available, updater, of course, says that updating kernel during installation may break hardware detection etc. so I press "cancel" and kernel is now marked as "won't install". Unfortunatelly installer ignores his own settings and installs new kernel, I am not able to tell installer to not to update kernel. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
