http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=615997 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=615997#c0 Summary: Installation language Dutch chooses Dutch keyboard, default should be English(US) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: f.de.kruijf@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; nl; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 SUSE/3.6.3-1.2 Firefox/3.6.3 In the first screen pressing F2 choosing Dutch(Nederlands) shows in the next screen a Dutch keyboard. Going to the keyboard selection in the Language menu and choosing there also English(US) always gives you in the next screen next to the Dutch language the Dutch keyboard. Most of the keyboards used in the Netherlands are English(US) keyboards, so the default should be English(US). This was the behaviour in previous openSUSE distributions. The Dutch keyboard mainly has non-alphabetic and non-numeric keys under different keys on the keyboard. Apparently this has been changed in RC1, it was as before in M7.
