https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=230730 walter.haidinger@gmx.at changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|WORKSFORME | ------- Comment #8 from walter.haidinger@gmx.at 2007-01-10 13:39 MST ------- "cupsd: UNKNOWN: ALLOW" _is_ valid if tcpd was built with -DPROCESS_OPTIONS as indicated in the description section of hosts_access(5). Anyways, this bug is _not_ about access control file format! Rather it is about cups _not_ working with a perfectly fine /etc/hosts.allow! Therefore, as the initial reporter I do back the opinion that this is a BUG, hereby reopening! There is clearly a bug in the tcp wrapper patch used for cups. Without the workarounds of comment #3 or #5, cupsd would not even be usable in a network! If this was for SSH, would you propose adding 'sshd : UNKNOWN' to /etc/hosts.allow as fix and resolve the bug? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
