http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=494665 Summary: KDE4 klauncher leaves lots of stale socket files around Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: jnelson-suse@jamponi.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032600 SUSE/3.0.8-1.1.1 Firefox/3.0.8 Running KDE4 4.2.2, I noticed that $HOME/.kde4/socket-$hostname/ has dozens or hundreds of klauncher socket files (stale). I have 192 on this machine currently. That should not be. klauncher or something should clean up its messes. I wish linc-cleanup-sockets was also run from time to time, practically every time I run that it cleans up hundreds or thousands of stale socket files, but that's not relevant to this bug.
