User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:7.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0 When attempting to install openSuSE 12.1 Beta1, I have found that if a USB thumb drive is present during the loading of the installer, installation hangs at "Starting udev", and does not progress into the actual installer portion of openSuSE 12.1 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Insert USB Thumb Drive 2. Boot from CD and choose Installation 3. Wait for kernel to load Actual Results: Install stays at loading screen. Pressing the "escape" key allows you to view the console text. Expected Results: Installation proceeds to load into graphical interface. The drive I am testing with is a 16GB thumb drive, formatted as FAT32. I am not sure if this makes any difference. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
