https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=782913 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=782913#c5 --- Comment #5 from Peter Davis <peterichardavis@gmx.net> 2012-10-13 13:30:25 UTC --- It hadn't occurred to me that it was customized, and the down arrow key also worked, the result depending on where the options were in the menu, but what I'd consider ideal is that, knowing my menu, I could choose the system I wanted without needing to see them on my screen. The current openSUSE situation is what I consider the worst possible, in that by choosing a system that doesn't give access to edit GRUB, and setting Timeout in Seconds below 2 or ticking Hide Menu on Boot, I effectively destroy, as far as I've been able to determine, my openSUSE system. The compromise, if there's a reason not to implement my ideal, would be to do as much as possible to stop the unwary user from disabling openSUSE. It also seems to me that, if Help refers to it, it should be possible to press Set as Default. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
