https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=440050 Summary: Changing partition setup during installation show text in buttons which does not fit Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta 3 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: f.de.kruijf@hetnet.nl QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- During installation YaST presents a partition setup which I need to change. I selected the Dutch language. Below the window with the partition table are a number of buttons which in the English version contain words like Add, Change and Delete. In Dutch these words are Toevoegen, Wijzigen en Verwijderen. These words do not fit the space in the button and they are shown with only the middle part of the words, are centered in the button. The screen is 800 x 600. I do the translation from English to Dutch but I can't find which message string in which pot-file is put in these buttons. There are two possible solutions: 1. the text is left alligned in the button 2. there is explanetory text in the msgctxt or otherwise that warns the translator to keep the translation restricted to a certain number of characters. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
