This is much the same behavior as BNC #309676, with the difference being that when running in a paravirtualized DomU, there is no ACPI support, so acpid fails to start: andrew@test-imsweb:~> sudo /etc/init.d/acpid start acpid: no ACPI support in kernel skipped I think this behavior may be a result of the patch introduced as a solution to #148384. It is definitely at a lower level than the display manager, as I have seen it on two VMs, one running gdm on 10.3 and the other xdm on 11.0. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
