https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=853652 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=853652#c0 Summary: Evolution keeps asking for password although they are supposed to be stored to the Keyring Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: guido.juckeland@tu-dresden.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/538.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chromium/25.0.1349.2 Chrome/25.0.1349.2 Safari/538.1 SUSE/13.1 (3.10.2) Epiphany/3.10.2 Since evolution 3.10.1 (which is part of OpenSuSE 13.1) kept segfaulting on me, I upgraded to Gnome:Factory which offered 3.10.2. Much better - the segfaults are gone, but now evolution cannot access the keyring. For every mailcheck I will be asked for the password. In order to debug this I removed all evolution key entries in the keyring and see that they are not added again when I enter the password for evoltion and set the option "add to keyring". Do you have an idea, how I can make the two meet again? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. use GNOME:factory 2. use evolution to access an e-mail account and try to store the password in keyring 3. Actual Results: password is stored in keyring and evolution uses it from now on Expected Results: password does not make it into the keyring and evolution keeps asking for password every time it checks for new email -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
