https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=481193 Summary: osc build --prefer-pkgs does not scan prefer-pkgs dir to satisfy buildrequires not available on server Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ajorgensen@novell.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- When I run "osc build --prefer-pkgs /some/dir" I get: Building monsoon.spec for openSUSE_11.1/x86_64 Getting buildinfo from server buildinfo is broken... it says: expansion error: nothing provides somepackage "somepackage" is provided by one of the rpms in /some/dir osc build should satisfy the buildrequire on "somepackage" from the rpm in /some/dir. This bug makes it difficult to package something for which I must also package a dependency. An example is monsoon, the new version requires a separate package of monotorrent but I can't start compiling monsoon until OBS builds monotorrent, even though I have a package built locally which it could use. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
