It is possible to open the regular grub menu and continue booting by manually executing "configfile (cd0)/EFI/BOOT/grub.cfg". Since this doesn't happen on my home EFI machine it seems to be partly firmware related. The problem seems to be the case sensitivity. The directory names on the DVD are written in upper case. FAT isn't case sensitive so the writing wouldn't matter but since the DVD uses UDF the firmware might have a problem using lower case or whatever is causing this. A possible way to circumvent firmware issues like this might be to patch Grub2 EFI to try different case combinations if the first one fails. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
