Finally, I am pretty disappointed by the fact that umtsmon program is missing on the live media.
umtsmon is not supported on 11.1 anymore since NetworkManager is supposed to handle 3G devices.
It is useless to have usb_modeswitch available without having umtsmon. At least for average users who do not know some tricks.
