All changes done in Audio and Video Settings - KDE Control Module -> Settings for the Phonon multimedia framework -> Audio hardware Setup retained until a reboot then the changes have to be made again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.change sound settings via KMix 2.changes take effect A-OK. sound is A-OK. 3.reboot 4.sound back to installed settings Actual Results: settings revert back to original Expected Results: changed sound settings are retained as previous versions of opensuse do Where are the sound settings saved and where does the system get the settings at boot? When I change the profile to other than Analog Stereo Duplex, the new profile and any other changes to settings like volume or profiles work fine UNTIL THE PC IS REBOOTED. The only item under Playback Devices is Built-in Audio Analog Stereo. Whatever is added to Playback Devices via Profile is GONE after rebooting. I don't think that there is anything wrong with any of the involved components other than the message was dropped or misplaced or was looked for in the wrong file. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
