http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=540607 Summary: you installs lots of packages while showing "nothing to do" Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: novell-web@zmi.at QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=319029) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=319029) you shows nothing to do User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:1.9.0.13) Gecko/2009080200 SUSE/3.0.13-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.13 ZarafaCheck/1.1.1.20080624.110 This is a XEN vm host, which I believe was once a 32bit real server, has been converted over to XEN and upgraded to openSUSE11.1 64bit (from some openSUSE 32bit release). Calling yast sw_install, I can 1) check dependencies 2) check system 3) packages -> all packages -> upgrade if newer and all is OK, nothing to do. Even when calling you, I get an empty window, showing nothing to do. BUT when I click ACCEPT then, it wants to install a lot of packages, many 32bit, some gnome and sound, libcdio and others. See attached pic. Why is you wanting to install that, despite showing nothing to do? (my Reference: druckserver@roo) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. call you 2. shows nothing to do, click ACCEPT 3. wants to install that Actual Results: installs stuff Expected Results: do nothing -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
