http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1181013 Bug ID: 1181013 Summary: Chromium minimized/maximized -> blank unrendered window Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: sb56637@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hi, Chromium has been performing very poorly for me for the past few months. I only use it occasionally, but this would be a showstopper bug if I used it regularly. With a fresh profile using the integrated window buttons it is unusable, because it kind of blinks and infinitely keeps trying to reload the window decoration, and doesn't accept typing input. After switching to the native window borders (running XFCE on Tumbleweed) it works better, but after minimizing or switching to another window and trying to return the Chromium it shows a blank / transparent window, and it requires resizing the window to make the Chromium window content visible again. I tried this generic binary builds, and it does *not* exhibit this bug, which is why I'm reporting it here on the openSUSE bugtracker: https://www.googleapis.com/download/storage/v1/b/chromium-browser-snapshots/o/Linux_x64%2F844357%2Fchrome-linux.zip?generation=1610776812391123&alt=media This build on the other hand behaves the same way as the Tumbleweed version: https://www.googleapis.com/download/storage/v1/b/chromium-browser-snapshots/o/Linux_x64%2F796803%2Fchrome-linux.zip?generation=1597154956591051&alt=media This is on an openSUSE Tumbleweed XFCE system running on a Thinkpad T530 with Intel integrated graphics. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
