All consols, except of GNOME and KDE4 starts in Super User Mode. After u provide root password, the root session starts, and then, if u want create another consoles in same window, from the menu or just pressing Ctrl+SHIFT+N, the new sessions starts normal,-in user mode. But closing the entire window with all consoles inside, producing pop up window, saying: "The console doesn't responding, do you like to close it anyway?" My installation was that way: File system is ReiserFS, and I removed user_attr and acl_attr from every partition in fstab, during installation. Package choose: everything, except: .NET and CELL development, and laptop utils. primary desktop: KDE3, I have 2 monitors 19'' on NVIDIA GTS 8600, AMD4200+, 3 GB RAM, SATA 160Gb drive, and NVIDIA mobo. I'm a long time SUSE user, and install every new coming version of SUSE, in my SUSE 10.3 I've never got similar problems. May be it because of ReiserFS? But it were no such problems on SUSE 10.3/2/1 with that. I always use ReiserFS. But as u say u ca't reproduce the problem, I'll try to do fresh install and see if the problem is still there. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
