http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1041837 Bug ID: 1041837 Summary: Tumbleweed snapshot 20170516 broke resuming from hibernation Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Upgrade Problems Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: pointedstick@zoho.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Running Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma. The Tumbleweed snapshot that included Kernel 4.11 (20170516) broke hibernation on my machine (late 2016 Kaby Lake HP Spectre x360 laptop). I don't know if it was the kernel that caused this, or something else. I update with `zypper dup --no-vendor-change --no-recommends`. My machine can still enter hibernation, but attempting to resume results in an infinite hang at a black screen with no output after it tries to load the ramdisk. Hibernation worked perfectly before updating to the snapshot. I'm not sure how to debug this, but can collect any information needed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
