In logs I see only installation of RC1...Is it relevant logs?
I did various (online) upgrades from M2 up to final...so yes, it should be the log
and what greeter you exactly mean? tittle of section in boot menu? And do you see if during update is updated kernel (boot section names is reproposed only after kernel update)?
