That is affected by the 'broken mdadm update' mentioned. I understand that you have managed to revert the update and have a working system again - is that correct. If you like you could install the update again, then edit /lib/mkinitrd/scripts/setup-md.sh and change eval echo \"\$md_conf_$md\" >> $tmp_mnt/etc/mdadm.conf towards the end to eval echo -e \"\$md_conf_$md\" >> $tmp_mnt/etc/mdadm.conf (i.e. add '-e'). Then run 'mkinitrd' and reboot should work. It will then continue to work as the next update will install exactly this fix. Alternately just wait for the next update.
