https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=681863 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=681863#c0 Summary: gpg-agent pin expiry setting is ignored by KMail when signing messages Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: korossy.p@freemail.hu QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/4.6) KHTML/4.6.1 (like Gecko) SUSE I'M using KMail configured to sign every messages by default. The problem is that pinentry dialog keeps popping up for nearly every mail I want to sign. The 'Expire cached PINs after N seconds' parameter is set to 600000 in KMails GPG-agent settings. No pin is asked if I sign a second message immediately after the first one, but after a few minutes (about 10 or 20 minutes or more but obviously much less then set in the PIN expiry parameter) PIN is asked again. I'm using OpenSUSE 11.3 x86_64, KMail 1.13.6, KDE4.6.1 installed from KDE4.6 Release repo. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set KMail to sign every message, set 'Expire cached PINs after N seconds' to eg. 36000 (10 hours) 2.Write and sign a message (GPG password will be asked) 3.Write and sign a message again after 20 minutes Actual Results: GPG password will be asked again Expected Results: GPG password should be asked again after elapsing time specified in 'Expire cached PINs after N seconds' parameter -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
