https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=277721 Summary: OOo printing dialog does not adapt to changed queues Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: OpenOffice.org AssignedTo: eward@novell.com ReportedBy: jsmeix@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de How to reproduce: 1. Start OOo and note which queues and which printer specific default settings it shows it its printing dialog. 2. Remove a queue and add a new queue and change the printer specific default settings (i.e. what "lpoptions -p queue-name -l" shows) for a third queue. 3. Re-open OOo's printing dialog: It still shows the out-dated queues. I.e. it still shows the deleted queue and does not show the new queue and it still shows the out-dated printer specific default settings for the third queue. In particular this is not in comliance to the "intrinsic design of CUPS for printing in the network", see http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:CUPS_in_a_Nutshell Solution: For each opening of OOo's printing dialog it must retrieve all info about the queues anew. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
