The 1.st command should report something like
'kmix' providing 'kdemultimedia3-mixer; is already installed.
The silence is confusing.
It seems it works with recent libzypp/zypper. This is from git: $ LANG=en zypper in kdemultimedia3-mixer Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... 'kmix' providing 'kdemultimedia3-mixer' is already installed. Resolving package dependencies... Nothing to do. I have a faint memory of fixing this, but can't find the commit. I hope --force would have done the job, besides kde4-kmix not having to provide kdemultimedia3-mixer.
--force would not, but --name would - selects packages by name instead of capabilities they provide. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
