Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bombshell@bombshellz.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1 This may or may not be a bug but when ntfs-3g is installed, NTFS isn't in the list of supported filesystems either in /proc/filesystems or /etc/filesystems. The auto mount in KDE fails to mount NTFS partitions automatically. The fix to this problem was to add "ntfs" to /etc/filesystems. Does or does not 'ntfs-3g-2010.10.2-2.1.*' responsible of updating /proc/filesystems or /etc/filesystems? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install ntfs-3g-2010.10.2-2.1.* 2. Plugin a NTFS formatted External Drive 3. Try to mount it through KDE Actual Results: Unrecognized filesystem, mount fails Expected Results: To mount the drive normally as expected ;) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
