Or rather Linux tries to read the NUMA configuration from the northbridge and that only goes to 4GB. So it creates only a node upto 4GB. Do you see all memory when you boot with numa=off? <4> BIOS-e820: 00000000ff780000 - 0000000100000000 (reserved) <4> BIOS-e820: 0000000100000000 - 0000000140000000 (usable) <6>DMI 2.3 present. <7>ACPI: RSDP (v000 ACPIAM ) @ 0x00000000000fad60 <7>ACPI: RSDT (v001 A M I OEMRSDT 0x09000604 MSFT 0x00000097) @ 0x00000000bff10000 <7>ACPI: FADT (v002 A M I OEMFACP 0x09000604 MSFT 0x00000097) @ 0x00000000bff10200 <7>ACPI: MADT (v001 A M I OEMAPIC 0x09000604 MSFT 0x00000097) @ 0x00000000bff10390 <7>ACPI: OEMB (v001 A M I AMI_OEM 0x09000604 MSFT 0x00000097) @ 0x00000000bff20040 <7>ACPI: DSDT (v001 A0217 A0217001 0x00000001 INTL 0x02002026) @ 0x0000000000000000 <6>Scanning NUMA topology in Northbridge 24 <6>Number of nodes 1 <6>Node 0 MemBase 0000000000000000 Limit 0000000100000000 <7>NUMA: Using 63 for the hash shift. <6>Using node hash shift of 63 <6>Bootmem setup node 0 0000000000000000-0000000100000000 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
