https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=711715 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=711715#c0 Summary: nv driver does not support multiple graphic cards Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: SLES 11 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: pief@hollants.com QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Back in the old SuSE Linux 9.3 days, the nv driver used to be able to drive more than a single graphic card, ie. it was able to drive two cards even with different resolutions. A feature that went broken at least in SLES 11, perhaps even earlier. An xorg.conf that includes configuration sections for both cards yields an error message "Could not initialize Video BIOS". We'd really like to see such support being readded for SLES 11 SP2. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
