http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=598193 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=598193#c89 --- Comment #89 from Martin Christeson <martin@etainable.com> 2010-07-03 22:40:43 UTC --- Did zypper dup from 11.3 RC1 to 11.3RC2 and rebooted and this is broken for me again. Now I get /dev/dm-0 and /dev/dm-1 for the two mirrored disk pairs on my system (fixing the autoyast use case mentioned above) but there are no _partX links created in /dev/disk/by-id for either DM device used to mount the OS, swap and home directories (nor associated /dev/mapper entries). I backed off my version of LVM2 and device-mapper and ran mkinitrd on the current *-12-desktop kernel to get running. Problem is every time a kernel update comes out, I need to go through this process to get it to boot. Don't think this meets definition of a "ship stopper", but the current solution does not address my use case -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
