I will attach hwinfo. Screen brightness is broken. The KDE power management widget in the taskbar has a screen brightness slider, which does not change the brightness. Likewise, the KDE power management settings should dim the screen when power is disconnected, but this also is broken. And worse, when I manually change the brightness with Fn+Arrow Right/Left, the brightness changes, but it results in a laggy, unresponsive system. In my most recent test, the mouse kept moving but I couldn't click on anything after changing the brightness this way. Basically the same problem exists on this system with openSUSE 11.3 too.
