The problem is, that the background of the TextEdit for search string in the Kickoff menu as well as of the password input field became pretty dark color, so that the entered text (with the used black font) become barely readable. After small discussion in the forum, it came out, that the issue is reproducible by setting KDE Style to "Gtk+ Style" in "Configure Desktop"->"Application Appearance"->"Style" As I've changed the style multiple times (from originally Oxygen to all available other ones and back), the problem was gone for all the styles but "Gtk+ Style". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set KDE Style to "GTK+ Style" 2. Call the Kickoff menu and enter some text in the search fiel Actual Results: Font is black and the background of the input field is very dark, so the font is barely readable. Expected Results: Black font on the bright background of the input field The bound descussion in the opensuse forum: http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/applications/4939... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
