Unfortunately in ~mludvig/.curlrc the password is not set. Now I anticipate arguments about security considerations ;-) Well, how about having a checkbox in the Yast proxy module saying something like "Disclose this username and password to users" (maybe "... in group wheel" or something). And then put it in /etc/curlrc?
