[Bug 1226122] TW installation leaves /boot empty

I can't stress enough I had started with Opensuse 20 years ago and used Grub. Then about 15 years ago switched from Grub to Refind for multiboot Linux/Mac and since always installed Opensuse/Tumbleweed with no boot manager and never had this problem. /boot always contained modules and not empty.
