https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=736077 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=736077#c24 --- Comment #24 from Mark Misulich <munguanaweza@netzero.net> 2012-04-13 02:51:33 UTC --- I installed kernel 3.4rc2-1.1 on 12.1 from kernel:HEAD repo. I have only booted this kernel once, and it started the fan after the temperature rose to 70C. Or not, I am not really sure if it started on its own or when I typed in apci -t to get a temperature readout. Afterwards the fan kept running and cooled the computer to 50C and below. It now reads 42C and when I typed in acpi -t to get this temperature readout, the fan went to high speed and stayed at high speed. That is how it has worked in 12.1 with most all the kernels, once the fan was already running. I will test it out more in the next day or two and post back. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
